The Animals Observatory: Edgy Kids Clothing

Fascinated by architecture, art and paintings from the 70s, Laia Aguilar decided to take inspiration from all of them to create her own label: The Animals Observatory… a Spanish brand of graphic, edgy kids clothing.
Instinctive, modern, creative and timeless, a new version of kids fashion…
The Animals Observatory aims to be timeless in trends that really have nothing to do with fashion, it’s about being close to little family stories.
The central influence on my designs for The Animals Observatory is perhaps the animal world seen through the eyes of a child, with curiosity, empathy and excitement” – explains Laia Aguilar
. Her styles are casual and modern for bright-minded children.
Her looks are unique… maybe a bit off-the-beaten-track and quirky…
Where does Laia get her inspirations? Everywhere… I always have my iPhone, a notebook and pen in my bag. I catch the ideas from the street, from magazines, Pinterest, movies, anywhere and everywhere really! I just need to be alert with my eyes wide open.”
This season she gets her inspirations from her trips all around the world: a market in Japan, Niagara Falls, a trip to Wales…
