Passage through Malaya

Whimsigirl is a children’s brand from Malaysia. Its story started in 2011 thanks to Syazana Sukiman and her countless rounds of soul searching and fabric collecting.
The label represents its own founder’s love for design and needing for simple, practical and high-quality products. The key core of the brand is the balance between sophistication and playfulness.
That’s why each piece is named in a funny way and conceived to carry comfort, culture and character while the collections are wholistically developed to tell a story.
The S/S 15 collection narrates an adventure called Passage through Malaya.
Take some time and join crabby crocodiles printed on the Bujang Kriketa Playsuit. With its name Kriketa, that means cricket in Hindi, it has been thought to bring good luck in many countries.
Enjoy comfort with the Pho Top, heartwarming just as the dish of noodles is named after. Try a hint of spicy flavor with the Masala pants in different colors. And then end up with the simplicity of cuddles and hugs, loved by Juliette, the hippie garment in the closet.
Born to be the odd one, Whimsigirl label constantly tries to push boundaries through its bold aesthetic. And we are really very curious about the names for the garments of F/W 2015-16…
