Marni Happy Birds,
a Christmas charity project

Marni is reaffirming its commitment to children’s charities with the project Marni Happy Birds.
The established partnership with Colombian craftsmen has resulted this year in a limited edition collection of hand-painted wooden and metal birds in a range of vibrant colors.
As always, the inspiration came from art. Each of the five birds is an ironic representation of a great female artist of the last century: Frida Kahlo is the cormorant, Carol Rama is depicted with a whimsical sunburst crown, the moorhen is Georgia O’Keeffe, the little bird is Alice Neel and the queen is none other than Louise Bourgeois.
The proceeds will be donated to the Vimala Association, supporting Indian children.
The Happy Birds are available throughout the Christmas period!
