Marcelo Burlon, Kids of Milan: Patagonian Inspirations

Marcelo Burlon operates under the moniker County of Milan: a multi-culti blender of fashion, music, nightlife, extreme beauty, and now a complete clothing line – which has created a global phenomenon.
Marcelo’s unique network keeps growing and growing, attracting la crème de la crème of who’s cool. That’s just his signature touch – gathering people together is his talent and creative medium par excellence, knowing too well that one has to think local but act global.
Marcelo Burlon Kids of Milan – the children’s line – is a fun kind of mini-me… as he took a bunch of statement pieces from his collections and downsized them. This season he was inspired by different cultures: Mapuches and Teleheuleches from Patagonia, remixing them with invented magic animals and geometric forms… to endlessly morphing patterns, which he splashed onto clean pragmatic pieces… the result: the whole collection is visually bold, playful, truly individual, yet extremely practical.
