Carbon Soldier
‘sell me a coat’ FW16/17

Carbon Soldier is a slang term for little children, offspring rug rats, a carbon copy of yourself.

The brand was founded by Barbara McCamish in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand. With no formal training, but with a passion for children’s wear, Barbara sewed for her own children and was stopped in the street and asked where the children’s clothes were from. Between single parenting and juggling other jobs, Carbon Soldier slowly grew to be well loved in New Zealand for it’s style, subtle palette and quality fabrics. Today Barbara’s daughter Lucy has joined the small team to help out with design, styling and photography. Carbon Soldier launched in the Northern Hemisphere 2 seasons ago at Playtime Paris.
FW16/17 ‘Sell Me A Coat’ brings together pointy collars, pompoms, luxurious faux fur and some rather dandy prints on premium fabrics. The collection for 0-9 yrs combines well for unlimited outfit choices. Top it off with a two tone pixie hat and scarf or fluffy bonnet.
The collection will be available in 15 international countries…
