Bellerose: Inspired by Pop Art & Punk Rock

Bellerose is a really cool Belgian fashion brand…
Their Muse du jour for girls is singer Debbie Harry… known for her wild, original, glamorous style… therefore the collection does not shy away from pattern mixing, fluffy fabrics or animal pints, such as zebra and lynx… there are arty and cartoon graphics… striking the right balance between punk and girly… Scottish tartan, houndstooth, striped knitwear and kilts are reminiscent of the style of the Sex Pistols subversive use of typically British patterns… fabrics are fuzzy and soft, made from fluffy mohair and cottonwool or washed cotton…
Denim is customized, washed and softened, in classic skinny cuts or boyfriend shape…
This seasons colours: electric blue and chilli orange, mixed with metallic lurex…
For the boys, there is warm and protecting clothing reminiscent of mountain hiking… a three-coloured target – symbolic British Mods – appears on several items… graphic checks bring to mind the punk aesthetic… the boys colour palette is bold and bright… mustard yellow, glowing blue and chilli orange…
run run run… and get those fabulous pieces!!!
