Auntie Hen and the kitchen bunny

Auntie Hen and the kitchen bunny….(Playing with food) – Cooking with Tante Kip

Enna Madeleine Halie was born in Oegstageest in the Netherlands. She studied fashion design & history at the Royal Academie of Arts in Antwerp. After spending most of her life as a fashion editor for famous magazines such as Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue; she decided to write a cooking book for children: Tante Kip en het huis, tuin en keukenkonijn- spelen met eten.
The idea came years ago while she was on holidays with friends and their kids in the South of France. Most days she would find herself surrounded by the kids, dogs and cats of the house. The children gave her the nickname Tante Kip, as they loved her grilled chicken! This gave her the inspiration to write an illustrated cooking book for young chefs. All this was made possible by Beeldenstorm, a social & cultural non-profit in Brussels where she is currently employed.
The book at the moment is only available in dutch.
