ATELIER CHILD: Classic. Modern. Playful. Wool.

There is a new Australian luxury children’s knitwear label which is quite exciting: Atelier Child, with their collection of mini classics for adventurous kids.
Having worked as a fashion editor for over a decade, I know exactly where to get a great statement knit for myself, but I noticed a gap in the children’s knitwear market for a fun, fashion forward label that appeals to the mother who loves print and colour, but is also looking for pieces that are timeless,” says co-founder Georgie Abay, a former Vogue editor who established the brand together with her close friend Jessica Baird Walsh, a former Communications Manager.
Both share a love of design and exceptional quality… their new collection features luxury cashmere blend and statement sweaters, scarves and beanies for boys and girls aged one to seven, as well as cosy baby blankets… all made out of the finest natural yarns… and very special with their bold patterns and eye catching colour combinations!
