Whale, the dreaming chair

Once upon a time there was a whale… over her flying hours went by, or rather swimming;
in which kids plough the seas of imagination through the books…”
Whale is a unique reading chair for children, designed by Pilar Larrotcha and Sonia de la Iglesia, the ladies behind Paparajote Factory.
This Spanish brand, which name comes from a traditional Murcian dessert, has Mediterranean roots but Nordic inspiration, and delivers home, kids and accessories collections.
The curved and organic forms of Whale let the child to feel free, comfortable and safe.
It is perfect as reading chair, but it also promotes play and interaction.
The design draws inspiration from the theories of the American pedagogue Nancie Atwell, Global Teacher Prize winner.
Whale is available in white, black, blue and grey.
