Vanessa McKeown, the colorful life of everyday objects
Using ordinary objects, collected from around the house and garden, artist Vanessa McKeown creates playful still life.
With a graduation in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art and a background in film editing and design, she conceived a lot of bizarre “edible” interpretations of ordinary items.
The series fruloons & vegaloons presents balloons disguised as vegetables, but Vanessa baked also a delicious sponge cake and prepared a fantastic garland spaghetti dish.
“I like to mix things up and make them visually pleasing!” McKeown says.
