The Upcycled Project by DROMe

The Italian brand DROMe comes out with a special limited edition capsule collection made of unique pieces, a result of existing garments, vintage items and recovered materials.

The UPCYCLED project collection, which is entirely handcrafted by local seamstresses in Tuscany, is a debut for the label. Each season they will make use of different styles from their archive, reprocessing vintage pieces whose parts will be dismantled and brought back together. This first coming out revolves around the concept of men’s shirts. 70’s, 80’s and 90’s stock items have been revised and acquired a new life and new meaning!

The project is not only a journey into DROMe’s history, but a commitment to a more sustainable future of fashion. That’s why the collection comes with distinctive packaging: recycled plastic hangers, recycled paper tags and reusable cotton garment bags. It’s a reflection on the future of fashion and its sustainability: the necessity to reconsider its evolution, production processes and environmental impact, with a desire to rediscover and redefine its past.
