The Small Gatsby X Alma Deutscher
The british child prodigy Alma Deutscher, impressed the audience at the LIFE+ Celebration Concert, last Wednesday 7th of June, alongside opera stars such as René Pape and Sumi Jo.
For her appearance in favour of a global HIV/AIDS project Alma wore a shiny pink silk dress by the Viennese statement-brand The Small Gatsby.
“It’s all so exciting! I love the occasion, I love Vienna, the great artists I’m honoured to join. And this dress, which makes me feel like a princess. I had my Cinderella moment on the way up to the stage, when I lost my shoe on the stairs and all that silk rustled about me. It was brilliant!” described Alma Deutscher.
“We all know, life is a matter of perspective, especially if you are caught between fun and responsibility. And if you don’t look twice, you might miss out on something fantastic! As this year’s 20s theme is also our brand leitmotif, it came naturally, to design Alma’s stage dress for her contribution: the cut is a balance between short and long, fitted and voluminous. And the fabric is pure silk, bright pink and soft grey, woven to a changeant marvel of a silk – the light decides the look. It suits Alma’s character, her strength and her grace, her grown up professionalism and the playful joy she takes in her music. We are delighted, that she loves it!” – said the leading ladies of The Small Gatsby, Teresa Zimmermann and Anita Dorner.
