Mimi’lou: a french creative design studio

Mimi’lou is a french textil design & illustration studio, created in 2005 by Miriam Derville, ex art director of Givenchy, Guerlain, Hugo Boss and many other brands.
As she wanted to share her passion for drawing with her children, one day Miriam decided to paint their stuffed animals on the walls of their room; in order to put her drawings wherever she wanted, she realized they could be made with tape … and that’s how Mimi’lou was born!
In the meantime, the studio has been joined by a small team, designing and producing exclusive collections for well-known interior and fashion design labels as Habitat, Monoprix and Little Paul & Joe, going from stickers to stationary or from fabric patterns to window displays.
Today Mimi’lou also creates cool bags, funny printed lamps, animal cushions, cute bed linen, stationery products….
Her designs and products are inspired by the fanciful kids-world full of poetry where you can read a book with your hippo, whisper a secret to your deer or take your butterfly out for a walk…and, of course, you can also sleep among hot-air balloons!
