Made.com is the new kid on the block for children’s design
And big promise: there won’t be any hint of baby blue or pastel pink in sight as online design brand Made.com releases its first ever Kids’ range… the new and exclusive collections are designed for kids aged from six years and Ruth Wassermann, made.com, design manager, based in London, Soho, told us: “As a mum I know that finding stylish and affordable furniture for kids is tough; it’s either pastels, pine or something super cheap that lasts one year.
We wanted to bridge that gap with modern pieces that not only last but mean design-savvy parents can finally have the same amount of fun decorating their kids’ rooms as they do the rest of the house.”
The idea behind: made.com is convinced, the high street and expensive designer brands give customers a raw deal. That’s because everyone along the way takes a cut… from agents to landlords… Made.com will cut the middle man, and allow customers to buy unique, bespoke or designer furniture directly from the manufacturers… there is no warehouse… no physical store… there is just a passionate team bringing a new way to buy furniture: cutting out the fuss… so you can get beautifully made pieces at a reasonable price…
