Luisa Via Roma and Hasbro MAKE KIDS HAPPY!

Organized for the first time in June 2010, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of online activity for LUISAVIAROMA.COM, Firenze4Ever is a bi-annual event that promotes the collaboration between brands, bloggers, media and fashion influencers, offering them the opportunity to exchange ideas and create new projects, both on and offline.
For this season Luisa Via Roma and Hasbro announce a special project: MAKE KIDS HAPPY!
Since its appearance in 1983, My Little Pony became the most collected children’s toy in the world with more than one hundred million models sold.
The success of My Little Pony has been so great as to conquer show business personalities such as Katy Perry, who cites it as the inspiration behind her look, or Lady Gaga who tattooed one on her leg. Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom and Katie Holmes has a collection of more than 200  exemplars and also the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was an avid collector.
No wonder that even the art world caught this craze.
The Finnish artist Mari Kasurinen, guest at Firenze4Ever, customizes “My Little Pony” into charming sculptures inspired by pop culture.
And now it is welcomed in Luisa Via Roma’s concept store where it transforms the place into a world of magic.
Thanks to the unique installation this edition will be unforgettable.
A number of top fashion designers, including Balmain, Marni, Missoni, Fendi, Kenzo, Roberto Cavalli and others, customized giant “My Little Ponies” transforming them into one-of-a-kind works of art.
The pieces will be auctioned on ebay from June 15 and proceeds will go to SAVE THE CHILDREN in support of their work for children affected by earthquake in Nepal.
