Kristine Mandsberg teamed up with kid’s wear Magazine for CIFF KIDS
We are very happy to announce our upcoming collaboration with Kristine Mandsberg at CIFF KIDS trade fair in Copenhagen, from August 5 – 7.
Kristine is an experienced textile designer and illustrator. After graduating at the London Royal College of Art in 2008, she founded her own studio in the Danish capital and started to collect collaborations with brands such as Molo, Soft Gallery, Munsterkids, Ikea, Ferm Living and many others.
It’s hard to describe her work, because she is a 360 degrees artist, and her talent comes to life through illustration, installation, animation, work on textiles and patterns.
Last year she has been commissioned by the Danish Hospital Clowns to make a big wall decoration in the new headquarter in Copenhagen.
At the beginning of 2015 she displayed her Soft Sculptures project in the setting of CIFF KIDS winter edition. This project was based on the idea of working with textiles and patterns from a 2D perspective and then contextualizing them in 3D objects that became a visual and physical experience for the viewer.
Are you curious to discover what she will do now?
She’s going to work around the SS ‘16 trends, chosen by our deputy editor Petra Barkhof, and themes such as mark-making, surfaces and materials, botanical, cactus and jungles will be the subjects of her installation.
