JW Marriott Resort: Family Leisure in Venice

Venice is always a good idea, whatever the season. Even with children! And to combine the cultural experience with family relax, there is nothing better than a stay at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, on Isola delle Rose, the lush private island that a careful restoration has brought back to new life.

The resort can be reached in a few minutes with a free shuttle service from Piazza San Marco and promises a real out-of-the-ordinary experience, away from the chaos of tourists, in the heart of the Venetian Lagoon. To welcome guests, 266 rooms and suites designed by architect Matteo Thun and holiday residences, such as La Residenza, La Maisonette, L’Uliveto and Villa Rose, to meet the needs of big family groups.

After a walk through the Venice streets, guests can recharge with activities of all kinds in the magnificent outdoor spaces around the Resort or in the elegant GOCO spa. For the little ones, an equipped Kids Club that welcomes children from 4 to 12 years, a sports field, a Family Pool and bicycles to go around the island with mom and dad. The Resort’s Recreation Team offers daily recreational activities and outdoor games. At Sapori Cooking Academy children learn how to make typical Venetian biscuits.

Of the 4 restaurants available at JW Marriott Resorts, the Sagra Rooftop Restaurant offers a delicious menu for children. Alternatively: chic-nic in the park! In fact, the Resort arranges a très chic but informal picnic in the park for couples or families, in the shade of ancient trees.
