Ice Hotel, cool staying!
Do your kids love snowball fights and other wintry activities? Head towards Jukkasjarvi in Sweden, 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, where the midnight sun glows for 2.400 hours without setting. There the original ICEHOTEL offers to fearless families a sub-zero staying.
It is open all the year, but it’s during winter that ICEHOTEL gives its best, with amazing art sculptures rooms attracting thousands of visitors before they melt in spring.
The amount of snow used to create this years’ glistening 55 rooms would suffice to make 700 million snowballs. And from 11th of December the all-white stunning sets will open for guests who want to spend the night in.
Services at ICEHOTEL include an ICE bar which serves just “on the rocks” cocktails and a northern light wake-up to not miss Aurora.
We’re sure this is the kind of holiday that will remain frozen in mind!
