Happy Birthday Yporque…

„Celebrate Every Day!“ is the enthusiastic motto of Spanish children’s brand Yporque…
We celebrated a fabulous birthday–weekend with them in magic Barcelona!
Leaving Milano to Barcelona… with Vueling Airlines… puhhhh… sounds very Nordic, almost like A Viking name, but is a Spanish, quite comfortable and not horribly expensive Airline…
As we always love to stay at ‚Room Mate Luca’, when we are in Florence for ‘Pitti Bimbo’… we were quite glad, to find out, there is ‚Room Mate Anna’ in Barcelona…
Such a cosy, little hotel with tremendous warmth and hospitality… and olalaaaaa… what a tasty breakfast! We indulged… Vincent, from the staff, gave us full attention and we felt really like home.
It started with a surprise – we entered our room… and there was a huge box! We were quite curious! As it was not our birthday!
Patricia opened the box and a beautiful balloon from ‚Plui de Confettis’ floated in the air… we were enchanted already.
Later we had a dinner at ‚Ninot Cuina’, a short walk home and we fell immediately asleep after such an exciting day!
Sunday morning our first stop: ‚Poble Espanyol’… The Poble Español is a truly enchanting village on Montjuic, built in 1929… with architecture that represents each province of Spain. Every single building is a copy of a real building. Mesmerizing!
Here we spent a fantastic afternoon at a concert, organized by Yporque and had a look at their fantastic collection…
fashion in tune with the music!…t-shirts with sounds and playful clothes…
As we really only had that short time… later we went to see Barcelona’s old town… and booked an embarrassingly touristy but I must say very comfortable and convenient ‚hop-on hop-off’ bus tour… it’s just unbeatable such a ride on an open-top double-decker bus if you only have a few hours to see all… there were three different tours, with over 44 stops to choose from! You could take time to visit Barcelona’s museums, stop at it’s many beautiful parks and gardens… nevertheless…
We decided for a cold drink at the breezy beach!

Barcelona is also a nice spot to visit with kids…
