Evolution is the watchword for Replay&Sons
Capturing a fresh funky spirit is the motto of this fall/winter 2014/15 girls collection. It’s very much about a 1990s post punk and grunge flair, there is the pattern & print combos, the jacquards and knits, the somber palette of black, melange, gypsum, wine red and dark green hues offset by yellow, turquoise, purple and fuchsia brights.
First on the lineup in blazing the fashion trail are the outdoor items, as in: the plaid duffel-coat, the faux fur jacket, the fluo lace & fur vest, the eco leather bomber. In the category of pants, the season’s big winners are knit leggings and then a fanciful pair of five pockets in some print stretch fleece fabric. Jeans as well follow a (r)evolutionary path, present a softer, lighter texture thanks to the use of comfortable powerstretch denim.
The boys clothing features slick edgy material mixes and young hotshot prints.
The peacoat goes fashion forward the modern material mix way, while corduroy moves in a similar direction by making the most of garment dyeing and laser finishing.
Curry yellow, rich reds and greens, blue and black set the tone for bold warm clothes with a ‘90s grunge appeal. Flat finish denims with at the very most stonewash, enzyme or tatter treatments present micro broken effects, rips & mends with color-contrast patches, check fabric appliqués.
