Dot to Dot
31 January- 1 February 2016
The Dot to Dot Awards will launch this weekend at the AW16 trade event, hosted at the Vinyl Factory in Soho, to shine the spotlight on designers bringing a wonderful, creative and exciting point of difference to children’s design. On Sunday 31 January, winners will be crowned in three categories – Best Newcomer, Best Stand and Best Collection.
It’s sure going to be a tricky task for the judging panel, which includes Linda McLean, editor of the UK’s top kid’s fashion blog Smudgetikka, Olly Paton, senior fashion editor at the Sunday Times Style, Jessica King, owner of online children’s boutique The Mini Edit, Gabrielle Spang, founder of online shopping destination Scandinavian Minimall, super stylist Tracey Jacob and Gemma Davis, founder of Vida Kids PR agency.
The awards will be presented from 4.30pm on Sunday 31 January with a celebratory glass of fizz for visitors to toast the winners.
Sunday will also see the announcement of the lucky brand that has clinched the fantastic prize of a free stand at the summer edition of Spanish tradeshow, Little, as part of the new initiative the two fairs launched this season to help small designers gain additional European exposure.
