Angulus, SS 2020

It’s been over 115 years since Angulus was founded, the Danish shoe label has proudly remained family owned during this time.

The brand was founded by William Madsen’s father who owned a cobblers in Copenhagen. Willy was a teacher and disagreed with the pointed shoes worn by many children at the time – he believed they were both unhealthy for growing feet and hindered natural movement. Willy gave up his job as a teacher to become a shoe maker and in 1928 he took the Danish footwear industry by storm introducing his new foot formed shoe developed in collaboration with doctors and physiotherapists.

Fast forward to today and Angulus shoes continue to be designed in Copenhagen whilst being handcrafted in Portugal by a family owned factory. Proving Angulus is a real family affair!

Their Spring/Summer collection is made for playful activities, for fun beside the sea or exploring the countryside. The collection aims to cater to be worn anywhere and anyhow.

The colour inspiration pulls from ocean references sandy browns, ocean blues and greens. The collection ranges from toddler to kids, to tweens with a wide selection of shoes, sandals, Mary Janes and Chelsea boots for all ages.
